The Early Life of Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was born in Vinci 15 miles west outside of Florence. He was the child of Caterina and Ser Piero da Vinci. Who were unmaried at the time when they gave birth to him on the 15th of April 1452. At a young age he was very interested in how things worked. One of his earliest memories is when a kite feel on him and the tail feathers whent in to his mouth and the feathers keept hiting his lips. This obviously influenced him when he was older making drawings of flying machines. He spent most of his time with his uncle Francesco. His uncle was a farmer meaning that he had a chilhood in the outdoors meaning that he learnt alot about nature and enjoyed sketching the plants.
